Customer Service Representative (CSR)

We are looking for an experienced customer service representative to join our compassionate team. We are looking for someone who loves animals and is a “people person.” The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, exceptional communication skills, be able to handle multiple tasks at any given time, remain calm under pressure and have a team minded approach to work.  

Our CSRs are the first point of contact for our clinic and typical job duties include:

  • Client communications on the phone, in person and via email. This involves routing messages to doctors and requires exceptional listening skills and focus on details.

  • Navigating the appointment calendar and scheduling and modifying appointments for office visits, surgeries and technician appointments.

  • Managing payments when checking clients out.

  • Maintaining proper chart documentation when attaching medical records, client communications, making specialty referrals, etc.

  • Being able to prioritize a variety of tasks and handle multiple tasks in a calm and professional manner.

  • Maintaining a friendly and positive attitude at all times.

  • Knowledge of basic veterinary medical terminology and procedures. Extensive training is provided.

Schedule:

  • 6/8/10 hour shifts available

  • Day shifts begin at 7:00am; Afternoon/early evening shifts end at 7:00pm – Monday-Friday

  • Two Saturdays a month required (8am-1pm)

Qualifications:

  • Veterinary and/or medical experience not required but preferred.

  • Customer Service Experience (Required)

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Pay is depending on experience: Starting pay $13 per hour.

Veterinary Technician

We are looking for a vet technician to join us!

Our technicians work side-by-side with our doctors and typical job duties include:

  • Checking clients in for appointments, obtaining detailed medical history and collecting vitals.

  • Reviewing appointment charges and helping facilitate checkout with the customer service team.

  • Client education regarding certain medical and medication information.

  • Assisting the doctors with the appointments.

  •  Collecting and running lab samples.

  • Placing catheters.

  • Assisting with surgeries and dental procedures by preparing instruments and patients.

  • Assist with patients in the kennel area by helping take them in and out of the building.

  • Assist with stocking and maintaining medical supply inventory. 

  • Assist with digital x-rays.

Schedule:

  • Full and part-time shifts available. 8/10/12 hour shifts available.

  • Day shifts begin at 7:00am; Afternoon/early evening shifts end at 7:00pm – Monday-Friday

  • Two Saturdays a month required (8am-1pm)

Qualifications:

  • Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

  • CVA: certification preferred

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Pay is depending on experience: Starting pay $13 per hour.
